3D Airwalk Prototype 600º F, by Kato. Maxwell 3D Resources
Airwalk has re-launched again this retro style and sold out all
available pairs, and as I have not been able to acquire some of them, I
did it in 3d.
If anyone is interested in my 3d modeling, you can simply ask for it.
Modelling done with 3D Plus (Inescop) and rendered in Maxwell
Render with HDRI created in HDR Light Studio (Lightmap), post work in
Photoshop.
Modelling time: 4 hours
Rendering time Still Images: 45 minutes each image, Maxwell Sampling Level: 18 ( 2500 x 1414 px)

Keeling) created using maya for base mesh, re-creating everything in
zbrush, with zsphere's then zscetching! exporting back to maya for extra
drops and positioning! rendering with maxwell render! comping in
phiotoshop and grading! hope you enjoy 6 week's for the complete

I wanted to create a corner of an room from the mid 70s, trying to achieve a different visual style instead of the common iper-clean interior.I took inspiration listening to the music I love most, and trying to "transform emotions in poligons". Everything was modelled, textured and rendered by me.Original resolution is 1920x1920. Postproduction was done by me and Mattia Balsamini.

CG R2-D2, work by Mike Verta. Maxwell 3D Resources
Having been a life-long Star Wars fan, I was honored to become part of
the official Star Wars universe when asked to create a new CG R2-D2 for Star Wars: The Complete Visual Dictionary.
I had previously done one on my own, as a personal project, which I
found later was the reason I was considered for the job.
The materials, lighting and scene setup happened in Autodesk’s Maya, and the final renders were done by NextLimit’s Maxwell Render, which I have been proud to be on the testing team for since its earliest days. My first render was a side-by-side comparison with one of the original R2′s I’d photographed.
